Contagion isn't a bad movie. Just disappointing really. I was a bit overwhelmed by the ensemble cast- most of whom are too good for this movie. As for the plot... It was lukewarm at best. People go to the movies for shock, drama, excitement- for a script that is motivational, thoughtful, fun or creative.
Contagion is an insipid, unimaginative film experience. It would have been better tooted as a documentary.
