Review of Contagion (2011) by Stone B — 29 Aug 2012
Contagion is a very well woven tale, indeed. It manages to go from the very personal level to macro societal developments and back again without skipping a beat, and also handles a large ensemble and gallery of characters without confusion to the point of building up a great deal of empathy with those characters in a short period of time.
Moreover, the storyline is quite plausible, balancing tension and drama with high stakes without breaking suspension of disbelief. Quite recommendable.
