I just never really saw anything in this movie at all. It was a little too preachy and pretentious for Robert Zemeckis. Jodie Foster was decent, but she's been better. Matthew McConaughey's performance was laughable and unbelievable.
It failed to really go anywhere and it just seemed to be a lot like 2001, without the brilliance behind it.
