As a movie telling a story of an encounter between humans and green alien relatives it easily manages to distance itself from all the movies of its genre. It has a political and an unexpected pseudo-philosophical point of view that makes you use your think.
It's not all special effects and alien mumbo jumbo. A must see for sci fi fans.
