Review of Contact (1997) by Frederick V — 20 Nov 2014

I've never actually seen this movie in it's entirety (it's taken me 8 years to finish it), but what I really love about Contact is how old school it feels even if it is more than 15 years old.

There is just such finesse and simplicity, that is so lost in films of this scale if shot today. That said, it does get too preachy and doesn't really end, but still it's a strong acting effort from everyone involved.
