Review of Contact (1997) by Jeff D — 01 Mar 2018
While the movie version of *Contact* is rather different than the novel, it still does an amazing job of conveying the book's basic premise and more. I do question the necessity of Palmer and Ellie's "morning after" scene, which unnecessarily mars an otherwise coherent plot; but it takes up such a small portion of this wonderfully powerful show, it can easily be overlooked.
*Contact* remains one of my favorite movies of all time.
