Great film , a lot of people who have seen it , like a lot of reviews here quote:"What a waste of three hours! You sit through three hours only to find out that the alien is her stupid father and nothing exciting happens.
" Thought it was going to be a sci-fi classic , it isn't and was never meant to be , its a lot to do with her struggle to be recognised in her field of science , and her battle with her hierarchy .
.Some great cinematogrophy especially the mirror in the bathroom scene...
