Review of Constantine (2005) by Zelyaine T — 25 Dec 2012
Constantine turned out a bit better than I expected, especially from various reviews reporting mediocrity. On a side note, I rather liked that there wasn't a love story forced into the plot as too many movies try to do nowadays. In fact, it got pretty blown off in Constantine, which rather amused me in a good way. Keanu Reeves is still a wooden-faced actor, but in this film it seemed tolerably appropriate and may have fit the character better anyway.
I also enjoyed certain parts and ideas of the cinematography, such as the water droplet in the bathtub scene. Thought that was clever.
