Review of Conspiracy Theory (1997) by Brenda M — 27 Mar 2009
A few good moments that are exciting, entertaining or funny. Gibson performs surprisingly well. Unfortunately it's flawed with the kind of bad dialogues that you only find in these kind of typical american action movies.
The running time is way too long, mainly because of all the sentimental love scenes - the characters isn't nearly as likeable for these to be justified. If they had focused on the interesting conspiracy, and cut about half an hour, it could've been a decent thriller.
It's too bad that movies with potential often gets ruined by a mandatory love story.
