Review of Conspiracy (2000) by Nanna H — 22 Aug 2008
An ok film, which would have been better served not being so obviously anti-Iraq war. Val Kilmer is solid here, though probably too old for the part. He keeps the movie enjoyable, doing well with the action scene, portraying a marine with ptsd well.
His performance helps overcome certain elements that would have dragged it down, mostly do to the writing and obvious message it was trying to force on the viewer. Ignoring that problem you see a fairly solid low budget action effort.
It is good to see Kilmer getting more films; he was always a good actor. I am looking forward to seeing his new film Felon.
