Review of Conquest of the Planet of the Apes (1972) by Adam B — 13 Aug 2011
There are a lot of great ideas in this film, but unfortunately the most significant (the training and forming of the revolution) is very poorly explained and shown. You get the general idea of it, but never really understand how this revolution suddenly forms.
This part (again, the most important) feels sloppy and rushed. But there is a lot of heart and fun here. And it is full of originality. The original ending is fantastic, while the theatrical one is bizzare.
