Review of Congo (1995) by Oliver E — 17 Nov 2008
Time has not been kind to this film. Having lost my X-box 360 to the dreaded ring of death and finding that my magnetic field was playing havoc with my PC, I decided to sit back and see how this trip down memory lane played out.
Alas its all to predictable and to say its an average affair is being to generous. The two characters (Bruce Campbell and Tim Curry) that could have saved the film are woefully underused. Ernie Hudson does prove modestly amusing though with his bizarre English accent (at least I think thats what he is going for?).
Not one for repeat watching I am afraid to say!
