CONGO - what a perfect example that blockbusters can be BORING!!! CONGO seems to have the perfect combination - captivating book by MICHAEL CRITCHON with special effects [above average for the '90's] and a big cast.
In the end simply a FLOP with silly storyline, unreal characters, and an animatronic gorilla that belongs at DISNEYLAND instead in a movie. I preferred GORILLAS IN THE MIST to this overhyped trype.
