Review of Confidence (1933) by Chris M — 02 Nov 2007
Has a lot of style and some good performances, but it's too in love with its own sense of irony to make a believable or cohesive story. A truly talented director can make an interesting ending without a dozen twists.
Dustin Hoffman's performance is the highlight of the film, as usual.
