Review of Confessions of Boston Blackie (1941) by Steve G — 28 Mar 2012
The story is logistically problematic, and cops are always portrayed as maniacs, but it was a cool enough movie. The cop issue toward the end, though, really was infuriating. I can't let that slip. But it did what movies are supposed to do... it kept me interested until the last moment. Flaws & all.
The conundrum in the end was actually quite good.
Some decent performances. A harmless indulgence.
