Review of Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) by Movie K — 27 Jun 2009

Lindsay Lohan is lovable in this movie. How much she has change since The Parent Trap. I like the solo performance she had at the end of the musical play in the movie. Megan Fox is so hot. Lindsay Lohan is a dramatic gal who moves from NY to NJ.

She gets to know Alison Pill who happens to like the same band as her. She lies to her saying her dad was dead to make herslef more interesting. And she is competing for attention with Megan Fox. She got the lead role in a school play.

Then upon knowing her fav band is having a farewell concert and party, she tries hard to go to NY for it. Convincing her parents and Alison's too. Megan will be going too. When they reach there, she left the money on the train thus didn't got the tix.

And at the party they saw her idol coming out drunk. They went to a cafe and he threw a doughnut at a police officer and ended up going to the station, which Lindsay ask her dad to bail them. Alison was disappointed she lied.

But the guy ask them to the party and they saw Megan there. Back at school, Megan deny seeing them and embarassed Lindsay so much she decided to quit the play. But Alison convince her back. She performs great.

At Megan's house party, the guy came to return the necklace Lindsay left at the party. Happy ending in the end.
