Review of Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004) by Michael G — 27 Oct 2012
Grade: E.
This film is absolutely terrible; terrible characters and terrible story. The film is about a girl who moves new a new school and doesnt fit in and finds herself competing with the popular girl for the lead part in the school play and is desperate to meet her favourite rockstar. I just thought it was the usual cliched and overexaggered teenage slush. I found the characters bland and unlikeable and Lindsay Lohan's character is uber annoying and as the title suggests a drama queen and a fibbling little show-off who thinks she's the bee's knees. This is a film that will only really appeal to dramatic, twilight loving tweens. There should be a new rating invented for films like this; 14 and under, this film is not suitable for anyone over the age of 14.
