Review of Confessions of a Superhero (2007) by Danny B — 19 Mar 2008
An absolutely disgusting exploitation of the poor and delusional. striving actors are almost human beings and we should almost respect them at least as much as we respect those wolf-boys from Mexico, whom happen to make less interesting exploitative documentaries.
I really really suggest this movie for both wannabe actors and psychology students, since your two professions are endlessly tied anyhow, it's a perfect mix.
This flick would actually be a great film for intro-psych class.
You gotta give it a break at first, I'm not sure if it's a first time film maker or what, but he includes awful opening titles and an overall pacing that doesn't help much, thankfully, the point of the film is quite poignant and sadly hilarious.
