Review of Confessions of a Superhero (2007) by Istvan G — 03 Jul 2010
Great Documentary. Not much of a Docu-fan, and this movie never once crossed my mind ever, but the Hulu was showing it & I had nothing at all to do and I just Love it. Michael Moores Shit Documentary films are funny at points & focuses on society/Government problems but I like stuff that focuses on the individual.
Christopher Dennis I have to say is under all that superman memorabilia a really good human being, even the cop says hes never had a complaint about him & He seems very a honorable human being. Joe McGueen has quite a story having had to be homeless and a young black guy during the Rodney King riots and getting into a movie.
Maximus Allen is the most interesting, its odd how he chose Batman to portray on the street, when batman has the most psychological baggage in the comics. Jennifer Wenger/Wonder Woman is the Middle Ground between the The Guys of the Doc & The Viewer she had the draw of Hollywood & went.
Great group of people coming from way different backgrounds. Just awesome to see, never knowing about the people behind the costume. Too Bad That Hollywood has disallowed them, do to complaints of some.
