Review of Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009) by Priscilla M — 22 Aug 2010
Sweet girly film.
Rebeccas dream is to work for a fashion magazin.
Anyhow she finds a job at a financial magazin, which is more boring than her previous job as a journalist for a flower magazin.
She becomes an overnight celebrity as her column about how to spend money on the best way is fulled with her passion about fashion.
Well its kind of predictable as everyone who loves shopping loves to spend money so debts don't stop growing up. That's where the best quote of this film is about:
"Graham Bloomwood (her father): Your mother and I think that if the American economy can be billions in debt and still survive, so can you.
".
What I enjoyed in this movie is that it can be a model:not to spend money like crazy, but that if you love something you can take this passion and transform even the most boring stuff into something intresting.
Thats just Rebecca did with the column about how to safe money.
Recomend it to people:who got quite bored and just want to have a funny and simple film to watch...
