Review of Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009) by Dave M — 06 Feb 2013
Fell a bit flat for me considering it is a chick flick, Isla Fisher is as usual charming on screen, although her character is one of those ditzy, compulsive types who still manage to make it through at the end of the day and achieve everything they set out to.
Deviates somewhat from the novel, not necessarily a bad thing, but the screenplay is weak - thank goodness for some strong performances - Joan Cusack and John Goodman quite good in their turn as Rebecca's parents.
