Review of Confessions of a Nazi Spy (1939) by Allan C — 09 Feb 2013
Pretty simple-minded spy tale about Nazi's infiltrating US society with diabolical plans. The film is more interesting to watch as a period piece, being filmed a couple years before the US got involved in WWII.
The film moves at a quick pace, but it's not all that original or interesting. George Sanders is good as an American Nazi sympathizer and Edward G. Robinson is also good as the FBI agent on the trail of the Nazi group.
