Review of Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) by Nick D — 14 Sep 2008

This movie begins with great promise, with Sam Rockwell giving one of his best performances and Clooney showing his knack for snappy humor. I was kept entertained but ultimately let down by the fact that the story drags after awhile and the humor and entertainment are replaced with bleak drama; this transition, while somewhat seamless, makes the film less enjoyable.
