Review of Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) by Mark C — 07 Oct 2008
George Clooney's directorial debut is a stylish, quirky, and very entertaining dark comedy. It follows gameshow creator Chuck Barris, as he gets his second job as a CIA contracted hitman (claimed in his autobiography).
Sam Rockwell nails the lead role giving an incredible performance, reaching all ranges of emotion. George Clooney's direction is suprisingly good for his first feature, and it has some great imagery.
