A well assured directorial debut for Clooney, but I can't help but think how the film might have been if Spike Jonze directed it. It is well known that the screenwriter was very unhappy about how Clooney removed a lot of elements from his screenplay.
But still it's a wonderful film with some great acting by the severely underrated, Sam Rockwell.
