A rather stylish and enjoyable film with some great writing, great performances and very memorable sequences, but it somehow falls slightly short of the greatness that it could have achieved. Kaufman's writing works pretty well with the subject matter but Clooney's directing (though not awful) almost becomes a tad distracting instead of complementing the colorful material like it should.
