Review of Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (2002) by Jeff H — 04 Aug 2011
Sam Rockwell is fantastic in what is arguably his breakout role. Unique cinematography and clever direction from the Cloon-Man make for a fascinating biopic. Barris' puzzling insistence on the idea that he was an honest-to-god CIA hitman (while producing The Dating Game) only serve to make the film more alluring.
If he's telling the truth then that is some remarkable shit! If he is in fact lying- then why?
