Review of Coneheads (1993) by Ian M — 12 Apr 2011
I fail to see what could be so repulsive about this film. The skit it's based on was pretty thin, even if it was a classic, so for them to spin that concept into a feature of appreciable length with this many laughs is practically unheard of. I may not soar to the epic heights of a film like 'Wayne's World', but it's certainly no 'Night At The Roxbury'.
True, the middle of the film sags thanks to Prymaat being given little to do, but so what? From Prymaat laughing while reading the Bible to Beldar sharing 55 words with Ronnie, it's better than you're going to do most other places.
