Review of Concussion (2015) by David P — 01 Jan 2016
I expected an anti-football propaganda film, and I did not get it. I expected that the career of a pathologist would be over-embellished and exaggerated, but instead(for the most part) the reality was embraced.
This movie was therefore much better than expected. It had lull moments and the script was very simple, but it was engaging enough to keep your interest and leave with an admiration of the doctor involved in the story.
What the movie ultimately suffers from, though, is that it doesn't quite know what it's about. It muddles itself with too many themes.
