The actors did a good job and it's a very important topic, but unfortunately my research tells me that the liberties the writers took with what actually happened - do somewhat significantly diminish the story's power.

I'd like to have missed some vindicating piece(s) of info, but that looks doubtful. Too bad. It just makes no sense to fuck around like that with a film like this. It takes a real lack of imagination to have to rely on imagination when life really is so much more bizarre than anything we can think up.

All one has to do is look.
