Review of Concussion (2015) by Ivan M — 24 May 2016
Concussion will probably be remembered best for Will Smith's dramatic transformation into Dr. Bennet Omalu, probably the performance of his career. Parts of the movie could have used polishing; the man-versus-corporation storyline is a bit stale, liberties were taken with the true story behind the events of the movie, and Omalu is written as being a far bigger advocate than you'd expect from a scientist.
Still, there's a lot to like about Concussion.
