Review of Concussion (2015) by Craig V — 27 Dec 2015
The acting was top notch. I think the smaller roles were really moving. The former players and their families get overshadowed by the struggle between Dr. Omalu and the NFL. However, it appears to reflect reality.
It is a shame the way the NFL attacked this man's intelligence and competence in order to avoid doing the right thing by people that dedicated their lives to football. The movie has also shown how callous people are towards Christians too.
It is sad that critics ignore how much faith this doctor had to have to continue working on this research in the face of so much opposition that was mainly based on greed and hedonism. I watched football for over 20 years, and I stopped watching this year.
It feels unethical to keep watching and supporting this sport.
