Review of Conan the Destroyer (1984) by Ergo Sum J — 08 Mar 2017
Let us be honest here, Hollywood nor any entertainment medium has not been able to recreate Howard's world of Conan or King Krull. I watch this movie and its predecessor and I know there is more to that grand world than what is on screen.
The fault lies not on the actors and Director but the creative teams who could not project Howard's genius on screen. But is is a noble intent nevertheless. It is decent action film and worth the watch.
Someday Hollywood or other media will get the Hyperborian Age right. Thank God they haven't tried to recreate Clark Ashton Smith{s imaginary worlds. Somethings are best untouched.
