I wasn't expecting much from this movie, and it still managed to disappoint. The blood and gore was cute, but always cut away from anything too messy. With the nudity, predictable plot, and pathetic characters (despite a few excellent actors), it felt like this was an R-rated flick geared towards 12-year-old boys.
Plus a barbarian with a clean-shaven face AND chest just ruins any sort of believability that might possibly have been there.
