Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Joel M — 12 Jan 2012
2/10: Poor reboot with zero immersion, mediocre CGI backdrop and bad direction. Action scenes are filmed using very fast pace cuts causing confusion to keep up with what was happening on screen. The camera always seemed to be lagging behind the action, and just when it finally catches up with Conan to see what he's doing, the bad guy is already dead.
It doesn't do Robert E. Howard's creation any justice at all.
