Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by David T — 20 Jan 2012
A surprisingly watchable re-imagine of conan. sure the plot is all over the place to the point that your not really sure what the hells going on and the acting by some is a bit dodgy(though some of the dialog they have doesn't help) but as a hack and slash flick it does its job. its pretty action pack it seems 5mins doesn't go by until someone else gets hacked up AMD blood doesn't shoot up on the screen. I'm not sure fans of the original(after a rewatch is over rated imo) will like it very much as its nothing like that flick. they also may be pissed off that I think the new guy is a much better and suited the role of Conan more then arnie.
Unfortunatly the fun dwindles near the end when a ott sea creature and needless cgi turn up to ruin things. not bad and is certainly be up for a Conan 2.
