Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Andreas O — 21 Jan 2012
One of the biggest, dumbest and all-around most unrewarding films to hit the 3D-screen so far. After a pretty good opening sequence, showing Conan as a child and setting the standards way too high, the movie just plummets and keeps on falling.
The characters are uninteresting, the plot does not make much sense and the stylistic choices are crap. It's like watching the Scorpion King, only less interesting. And that is saying something.
