Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Bill C — 30 May 2012
I was hoping that this would be Jason Momoa's big break into feature films. But, alas, not even a Cimmarian warrior could fight his way out of this remake. While Momoa has the look and attitude to swing Conan's sword and the scenery is breathtaking, a poor script and bad directing does not make a good movie.
It's easy to say that Ah-nold's version was WAY better. The 3D gore effects didn't help either.
