A new instalment of this heroâ(TM)s adventures where she has to protect a beautiful princess from the grasp of a dangerous king that pretends to enslave the world with the help of his daughterâ(TM)s sorcery. Casually this monarch was the torturer and killer of Conanâ(TM)s father and the one that left Conan to die in a fire when he was 11.

It is a typical Conan film, all the elements are there, bloody fighting, princesses in distress, dark witchcraft, cruel leaders and big swords. You surely cannot go wrong with that. The problem is that is so mapped out that there is really no thrill and no surprise in it, you know whatâ(TM)s going to happen before it does. If you are into that sort of film just a word of warning, this is very graphic, and to certain extent quite gory, there is loads of blood, slaughter, cracking skulls, beheadings, limb removals and the works, so this is definitely not a family movie. It is entertaining when it is not unpleasant but there is too much butchery for my liking.
