Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Daniel M — 29 Oct 2012
Aside from having 'Conan' in the title, this movie was an IP letdown. Jason Momoa does what he's good at fairly well, speaking as little as possible, and that's a small saving grace at best.
3D? Not needed here at all. For the action junkie it does get a bit red and squishy, but it feels like the whole story really goes nowhere. At least this film (and The Destroyer) is getting forgotten in the upcoming re-boot featuring the 65 year old Governator next year.
If you have a coupon or if someone else is paying, by all means give it a watch if you're out of sl;owly drying paint to watch.
