I'm a sucker for cheesey movies like this and grew up watching the originals. The originals are, of course, always better, however! I think I get caught up in the nostalgia. Good effects and cinemography.

Poorly written dialogue and every movement and phrase is overly "epic." Did you really expect anything more, though? All in all, I enjoy it, and if you're a sucker for cheesey remakes of cheesey classics, you will too!
