For aesthetic reasons only this gets two stars, otherwise, its a B grade actioner dressed up as an epic fantasy effort. I think what made the originals work (kinda) was that they starred such an original in Schwarzenegger - whereas Momoa doesn't quite the same presence.
Rose McGowan actually is the most interesting thing about this film as she delivers a fantastically over the top (and creepy) performance as Marique.
