Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Shaun G — 03 Mar 2014
This film is Conan as he was written in the paperbacks and comics. In my opinion far closer to what was intended by his creator than any of the Arnold ones. Yes it went a little too far with special effect sand demons to fight, but the rest fit Conan as I read it in the 70s.
the bit where spits out the egg, classic. He took what he wanted. Did what he wanted. Answered to no one. My kind of guy.
