Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Jj H — 14 Jan 2012
There is a lot to like in this version, and it begins well. It loses momentum in the last quarter and the villain misses out on his grand pay off. Cast very good, especially Jason Momoa as Conan. No where near as satisfying a film as the Milius/Schwarzenegger 80s version, but some great visuals and scenes all the same.
