Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Cameron J — 11 Apr 2012

This is a film that looks great but alas is an example of style over substance. The main problem is Conan himself. He is totally devoid of any character and the script is extremely poor so that what you have is just one fight after another without anything to hold your interest.

Jason Momoa is one dimensional and if he's not careful will become typecast as the surly barbarian who doesn't speak. Watch the original instead its much better.
