Review of Conan the Barbarian (2011) by Sam D — 08 Jun 2014
I saw the 1982 original first run and came in skeptical. Surprising, this reboot better imagines Hyboria and its various cultures, and Jason Mornoa makes a great Conan. While there's ample skin and blood, nothing is in excess, thanks to a tight script with believable characters.
The late Robert E Howard would be proud. Highly recommended.
