Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Dave M — 31 May 2009
As a fan of the Conan books and comics I thought they did a good job on this film. The film does look dated and the F/X is not that great as films are today. It is even a bit cheesy here and there. But it has it's charm.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was a perfect casting choice for Conan. James Earl Jones was quite good as the main villain. With a good story and action this made for a fun fantasy adventure film.
