This is the Governator at his absolute, Cro-Magnon best. This movie sets up Arnie's run as box-office megastar for years to come, while still faithfully adhering to the brutal Cimmerian lore established by Robert E.
Howard. Conan's answer to what is best in life still ranks as one of my all time favorites: "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women." Amen, Arnold, amen.
