Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Tim R — 10 Oct 2012
After engorging every Conan book by Robert E. Howard as an 8th grader and a big fan of the early 70's comic, I was 1st in line when this movie was released. Yeah, I was disappointed a bit - but who cares.
John Milius (a man's man director) got it pretty close to right and Arnold, though hysterically inept at times, fit the bill. Avoid the new version and rent this.
