Review of Conan the Barbarian (1982) by Daniel R — 24 Apr 2014
John Milius nails the Warrior Zen ethos of Conan along with an epochal operatic score by Basil Poledouris. The film shows Conan's genesis as he becomes a gladiator then thief obsessed with finding the cult that murdered his mother and father.
Fine performances and excellent location work...it is truly "The days of High Adventure.".
